Take a little peek into New York Public Library’s newly liberated collection of erotica (code *** to those in the know)… “As part of the library’s mandate to collect life as it was lived,” says The New York Times, “small teams of librarians were dispatched in the 1970s to Times Square pornography shops to scoop up representative samples of the latest erotica.” These materials and more, once under lock and key, are now open to the public!
